Moulin Roty

Moulin Roty was founded in 1972 in a small French village of the same name by a 20 strong group of artists wanting to combine life with arts. Their first successes included making toy cars using both wood and fabric and a rag doll. In 1988, the Moulin Roty workshops were destroyed by a fire and the company opened premises in Nort sur Erdre. From this point Moulin Roty concentrated on manufacturing beautifully designed, high quality children's wooden and soft toys, and supplied exclusive boutiques in France and their popularity continued to grow. In 1999 Moulin Roty was introduced to the UK. I love Moulin Roty products because of their interesting design, rich colours and the highly tactile materials used, and evidently so do our customers as we are continually adding to the Bambolina range. My favourite Moulin Roty product at the moment? Fanette, one of Les Coquettes, three sumptuous rag dolls introduced in 2009.
