Lena is a stunning doll from the Kidz 'n' Cats range designed by Sonja Hartmann in Germany for With Heart and Soul. Lena is suitable for children age 6 years and up.

Kidz 'n' Cats dolls are made from vinyl that is phthalate and azo dye free. They are unique in that they have nine joints and can bend their elbows and knees enabling them to sit, kneel, climb and straddle, and dressing them is easier too. Their hair is a kanekalon wig which is stitched to the head, giving the hair a more natural appearance and making the style easier to maintain. They have sparkling acrylic eyes and long eye lashes, painted eye brows, rosy cheeks and a sweet little nose and mouth. A great deal of attention has been paid to the modelling of their bodies including pretty hands and feet.

Lena has brown eyes and copious amounts of long dark hair with a fringe. She has two tiny pony tails bound with red cotton to go with her outfit. Lena is wearing a flared red knitted dress with long sleeves and a fluffy collar which ties at the front with red ribbon and can be removed as it is attached to the dress with poppers. Beneath Lena's dress is a red petticoat with frilled red lace around the hem which peaks out beneath her dress. As underwear Lena is wearing a white cotton body suit with pale pink blanket stitch trimming the edges and a pair of grey patterned tights. On her feet Lena is wearing the most gorgeous red shoes which tie with wide scrunchy ribbon.

Finally, Lena carries with her a soft and fluffy grey cat with a pink nose, black eyes, nylon whiskers and an embroidered mouth. The cat is wearing a pink jersey dress covered with red polka dots with a white collar and lace trim around the hem. She has a tiny co-ordinating bag and a red fleece beret. There are embroidered claws on all paws and pieces of grey velcro to enable the cat to be attached to Lena's arm.

The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.

The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles. Care should be taken to avoid getting the wig wet as this may upset the glue used to attach the wig to the head.

The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
