Placing an order
The quickest way to order is to place an order on line via Bambolina.co.uk by following the prompts. Once your order has been received you will be sent an email confirming this.
Secure Payments
When you place an order online with Bambolina your details are taken and securely transmitted to Sage Pay our payment gateway. Sage Pay then securely pass your information to Streamline where the payment is processed and authorised. Bambolina does not store your credit card details and they cannot be seen by anyone at Bambolina or Sage Pay. Sage Pay, formerly Protx, handle online credit and debit card transactions for thousands of online retailers.
As part of the payment process you will be asked to verify the payment by entering certain digits from a password that you may or may not have set up already. This is highly advisable as it can prevent fraudulent use of your credit/debit card.
When you place an order over the phone your payment details are keyed into Sage Pay’s totally secure on line “Virtual Terminal” and the payment is processed in the same way as if the payment was being made on-line. Bambolina does not keep any credit or debit card information you give to us over the phone.
Paypal
You also have the option to pay for your order via Paypal. In this case you will be redirected to Paypal via a secure connection, and once the transaction has been completed you will be returned to Bambolina where we will complete your order in the usual manner. We have been a Paypal Verified Seller since starting the business in 2006.
Please ensure that your Paypal account is up to date so that when we receive an order from you we are provided with the correct address. Bambolina will not replace goods sent to the wrong address due to the provision of incorrect information.
Delivery - UK
We will endeavour to prepare your order for posting as quickly as possible, normally between 1 or 2 working days of receiving your order. Most parcels with a UK postcode are sent out via Royal Mail First Class Post, but more valuable orders and heavier parcels are sent by courier, usually with DHL 48 hour.
Heavy and Large Items
Heavy and large orders to be delivered to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcels which may take 3-5 working days for delivery from posting.
You can therefore expect to receive your order anytime between 3 and 7 working days except at busy times such as Christmas when it may take 7 to 10 working days, depending on the post for which we can’t be held responsible. In general though, we are pretty quick as you will see if you read our many customer testimonials.

Delivery – International
Bambolina is happy to send items abroad with the exception of dolls furniture and particularly heavy items.
Orders are sent using International Airsure where available, or Airmail, but the size of these packages are limited in weight and size. We are happy to remove products from packaging and send them in a correctly sized box. However, we can also arrange for large orders to be shipped by international courier if required.
Please send us an email listing exactly what you would like to order together with your address and telephone number. We will then send you a Paypal invoice for the cost of the products and shipping. If you live outside the EEC we will remove Value Added Tax (VAT) which is 20% in the UK. However, you will be liable to pay any taxes or duties owed when the goods arrive in customs in your state/country.
Recycling
In order to help conserve the planet we recycle boxes and packing where possible and also use packaging materials that are made from recycled material. We also aim to use packaging materials that can be easily reused or recycled, so please do so if you can.
Returns Policy
Bambolina hopes that you will really love your purchase. However, if for any reason you do not, then simply return it to us.
All we ask is that you return your purchase to us in perfect condition in it’s original display box/packaging within 14 days of receipt. Please ensure that the item is well protected and wrapped carefully to avoid damage in the post. Finally, you just need to include a copy of your receipt with your return, together with a brief reason for the return.
We will be happy to exchange the item for you or provide you with a full refund, excluding the original postage and packing charge.
May we suggest that you keep your postal receipt as proof of posting, and maybe consider returning more expensive items via registered post, as Bambolina cannot be held responsible for any returns lost or damaged in the post.
We will let you know by email when we have received your parcel and that a refund or exchange has been processed for you.

Non-delivered/Missing Orders
If you are concerned that your order has not arrived and may be lost please let us know and we will confirm how the order was sent to you.
First Class Post
Orders sent by first class post should normally reach you within 1 to 2 days of posting but sometimes may take longer. Generally Royal Mail First Class is fantastically reliable but occasionally things do go wrong.
The first thing you will be asked to do is confirm that the address you provided is correct. Then we will ask you to check at your local sorting office to see if your order is being held there for you. Sometimes cards aren’t left by postmen or are mislaid and very often missing parcels can be found here. However, don’t leave it too long before visiting the sorting office as uncollected parcels will be returned to us.
If your parcel still hasn’t arrived after 16 working days from the date of posting, Bambolina will send a replacement package or provide a refund if you would prefer. You will also be refunded accordingly if any of the items originally ordered are not available.
DHL
Delivery by DHL is very reliable. However, if your order doesn’t arrive you will be asked to confirm that the address you provided us with is correct and we will then do our best to trace your order for you. If it cannot be traced we will send out a replacement order for you or process a refund, if that is what you would prefer. You will also be refunded accordingly should any part of the original order no longer be available.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure that your goods reach you in perfect condition, if you do find a problem with your order on receipt, please let us know immediately. It is helpful to send us a photograph of the problem. In this situation we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible. You will be asked to return the damaged item to us and of course we will refund all postage costs incurred.
Out of Stock Items
The stock control system is automated and stock is allocated to orders on a first come first served basis. If a product in your basket is unavailable at the time of check out you will not be able to purchase it. If you would like us to let you know when the item is available again, please send an email to that effect.
Christmas Delivery
Please note that orders placed up to and including Friday 17 December 2010 will be guaranteed for Christmas delivery, again subject to Royal Mail and DHL working well.
